Abstract

When studying the history of Polish Egyptology, it is difficult to ignore the various references to Tadeusz Andrzejewski (1923–1961), who is, in fact, still a poorly-known scholar. Yet, despite his premature death, he has left numerous Egyptological publications. In this paper, I would like to shed some light on Andrzejewski and his contribution to Polish Egyptology with the help of some previously unpublished documents.
