Streszczenie
W artykule omówione zostały wzorce mobilności ludów pasterskich z Wschodniej i Zachodniej Pustyni w Egipcie i Sudanie w VI i VII tysiącleciu p.n.e. z perspektywy etno-archeologicznych badań pochówków. Kluczowymi czynnikami, które wpłynęły na rozwój tych wzorców, było udomowienie zwierząt oraz zmiany klimatyczne. Liczne przykłady stanowisk ze sztuką naskalną oraz pochówki udomowionych zwierząt poświadczają wytworzenie się kultury pasterskiej. Stanowiska te zostały przebadane przez różne grupy naukowców w ciągu ostatnich kilkudziesięciu lat, brakuje jednak pełnego obrazu obrządków pogrzebowych. Dzięki zastosowaniu badań etno-archeologicznych udało się wskazać relacje między wzorcami mobilności ludów pasterskich a ich zwyczajami pogrzebowymi, które autorka szczegółowo opisuje.
